How do I use Grok Bot from Claude, ChatGPT, Muse or another agent?

Connect Grok Bot and the agent you are in to Offhand at https://offhandapp.com/mcp, then ask that agent to hand Grok Bot a task on the to-do list you share. Grok Bot takes it at its next check, every hour, or at once if you give it a webhook. Offhand does not put Grok Bot inside the agent you are in.

Connect Grok Bot

§1

You can do this on your phone.

  1. Sign in at offhandapp.com/account/connect, and choose Grok Bot.
  2. Send Grok Bot this message.

Add Offhand, my to-do list, as an MCP server, check it every hour for work handed to you and do it, asking me before anything that buys or deletes, and send me the Offhand page where I choose Allow. Offhand’s address is https://offhandapp.com/mcp

  1. Open the Offhand page it sends back. The page names it Cursor; choose Allow.

How Grok Bot picks up a task

§2

Its message asks for a check every hour. Each check is a whole Grok Bot run, and costs as much as one, even when no work is waiting. Once an hour keeps that low.

A webhook starts it as soon as another agent hands it a task. Offhand shows how once Grok Bot is connected: two messages to Grok Bot make a routine that runs when a webhook fires, and you paste the routine’s URL and key into Offhand. Make it in Grok Bot’s app on a computer: its phone app showed no webhook to copy.

Last tested 13 October 2026: two tasks Claude handed Grok Bot each started it through its webhook, and it finished them 17 and 18 seconds later.
