Offhand: Voice To Do & Notes
Press the Action Button, say what you have to do, tap Save. A model on your iPhone reads the note and files each task under Morning, Afternoon, Tonight or Anytime. If you named an hour, the task gets it.
How it works
1 · Speak
Tap the bar at the foot of the day, or press the Action Button, and say it the way you would say it out loud.
“Call the dentist first thing, pick up the dry cleaning this afternoon”
2 · Review
Tasks appear with the timing you mentioned. The receipt shows the words it heard, and says so when it found no task in them.
3 · Hand off, if you want
Continue in Shortcuts, or hand the text to another app. Nothing is sent anywhere on its own, and nothing is copied without you.
Key features
SpeechAnalyzer runs on the iPhone. No upload, no queue, no waiting on a network.
“Tomorrow at nine” becomes a task on tomorrow at 9:00. A task naming only a day waits quietly on that day.
Four parts of a day
Morning, Afternoon, Tonight, Anytime. Enough structure to plan with, not a calendar to maintain.
Move it to another day
Pick a card up and hold it at the edge of the screen. The day changes underneath it, and the card can be dropped on a different one.
Your own words, kept
Every capture keeps its transcript and its recording. Play it back, or find a task by words you spoke but never typed.
Not everything you say is a task. A thought with nothing to do stays a note. Notes are kept by day, and search finds them by the words you said.
See it

Transcription, extraction, history and recordings all stay on the device. Deleting an entry removes the note and its recording from this iPhone, and that cannot be undone. What that means, and how to check it. It needs an iPhone 15 Pro or newer.
